Chinese Theory:
Movement of blood and Qi should be smooth and even throughout the body to maintain health. A stagnation or uneven movement causes disease and with it accompanies pain. Wherever the stagnation is there will be pain. Also when stagnation of any body substance occurs there tends to develop heat, similarly to the grinding of a wheel and the friction and heat that would be generated. The valuable herbs of this blend are designed to move blood and Qi in the lower extremities. By moving the blood the heat, inflammation and pain will diminish within the heels of the hoof.
Suggested Use (for the 1000 lb Horse):
Two tablespoons twice a day for the first twenty days then administer two tablespoons once a day until pain to the hooves has resolved. By the time heel pain is identified the problem is usually long standing therefore treatment with herbs may be longstanding or repeated.
Precautions:
Not to be used in pregnant mares.
