"Your care has his coat shining like a newly minted copper penny! I know that your Chinese herbs have made the difference in his willingness to be groomed as well as the super quality of his coat. I wish all horses could be on Chinese herbs. I sincerely believe they have a dramatic effect on not only the appearance of my horse but his overall attitude toward life. He is so much happier. Willie will remain on them the rest of his life."

Indications:
This blend addresses discomfort in the joints and limbs that results from training and everyday activities. The horse that would benefit most from this blend is generally weak, has a poor hair coat, and lacks luster to the eyes. The horse has achy joints and limbs resulting from prolonged wear and tear to one or multiple joints or limbs. Lower back discomfort may also accompany these issues. This will often get worse with cold and damp weather.

Chinese Theory:
The Chinese theory behind this blend is that it expels wind and dampness, disperses the obstruction, and tonifies the deficiency. Joint discomfort is considered to be an obstruction of the flow of energy, or Qi, which causes the achiness. Herbs in this blend are used to dispel the obstruction, thereby managing the discomfort within the joints. Wind and dampness are considered to be external pathogenic factors, which have invaded the body and affected the joints. Damp and wind are expelled from the body by these herbs.

The obstruction of the flow of Qi to the limbs can cause a deficiency of the kidney and liver. Tonifying these organs helps to support the natural vitality and liveliness of the body.

Suggested Use (for the 1000 lb Horse):
Traditional Formulas: Administer two (2) tablespoons twice daily for the initial twenty days. Then, administer two (2) tablespoons once a day therafter. Note: In the event the horse refuses to eat herbs, start with small amounts in the grain until the horse is acquainted with the taste or try the Flax Plus version of this formula. Almost all horses will eat the herbs in their grain.

Flax Plus: Administer one (1) scoop twice daily for the initial twenty days. Then, administer one (1) scoop daily. Six tablespoon scoop included.

Note: May want to change to Herbsmith Angelica Harmonize Joints during warm summer months.
